Corinthia Artist in Residence

In March 2013 Corinthia London will undertake a unique cultural collaboration with the Artist in Residence programme turning its hand to immersive theatre.

This is the second year of Corinthia London’s Artist in Residence programme, which annually sees an artist from a different discipline, (art, theatre, film, fashion, design, literature) chosen by a panel of esteemed judges create work in response to a brief set by Corinthia London.

Each participant will be guided through a number of one-on-one encounters and experiences throughout the hotel meaning the traditionally passive audience member is encouraged to be open minded and willing as they take on the lead role.

This year we invited playwrights and theatrical companies to respond to an application by mid-September 2012. Look Left Look Right were appointed winners on 17th October 2012.

During the residency they have been tasked with writing/developing an immersive play which will then be produced and performed for a public audience.

Look Left Look Right are currently in residence at Corinthia London immersing themselves in the hotel, speaking with various members of the team and preparing their script.
